CFA 13th Annual Golf Classic
Highlights

On August 24th, 2009 the CFA hosted our 13th Annual Golf Classic at Black Creek Golf Club.  Over two hundred guests came out in support of the CFA.  Thirty four golf teams competed for the Tom Rhyne, Jr. Cup.  Tournament events included the Putting Contest, Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, and the Hole-In-One contest.  Following the tournament, guests enjoyed "An Evening of Miracles." Dinner was prepared by Carraba's Italian Grill.  "An Evening of Miracles" paid tribute to the late Tom Rhyne, Jr., a longtime friend and board member of the CFA.  In attendance for the special evening was Mr. Rhyne's wife, Ginny, and his sons, Michael and Steve.   

The team of Amerisource Bergen won the Championship flight, and team members Gary Lane, Richard Hadden, Greg Bohannon, and Matt Hadden were awarded the Tom Rhyne, Jr. Cup.   Michael Cantevespra of Dr. Timothy Strait's team won the Putting Contest.

The CFA and Golf Chair, Mr. Jeff Loy, would like to thank our many sponsors and volunteers for their dedication to the mission of the Foundation.  Through their support and donations, we will continue to "make a difference in the life of a child one face at a time."
